what is a hand poked tattoo?

a hand poked tattoo is a tattoo that’s made without using a machine. i use all the same equipment as a machine artist, but the tattoo is made dot by dot with a tattoo needle.

how long have you been tattooing?

9 years as of march 2026.

is tipping expected?

tipping is never required or expected, but always appreciated. between taxes and overhead, i give 20% to the shop and 30% to taxes for each tattoo i make. if you'd like to help offset costs but aren't able to give anything extra, paying even a portion of your tattoo in cash is very helpful.

what’s the deposit for?

deposits are used to hold your appointment date and time. although your deposit will go toward the final cost of your tattoo, i keep it as payment for the day if you cancel or need to reschedule your appointment. deposits are non refundable and non transferrable.

what happens if i need to cancel my appointment?

deposits are non refundable and only transferable one time with an immediate reschedule.

how long will the appointment take?

my sessions last anywhere between 2 to 6 hours (including placement time and breaks). please do not make time sensitive plans for after your appointment as i'm not able to give you an exact estimate of how long your tattoo will take, and cannot guarantee we will be done on time. please do your best to not make me feel rushed during our appointment.

how much will my tattoo cost?

studio rate is 200/hr. if you have a specific budget please let me know in your submission form! i can either split the tattoo into multiple sessions or adjust the design to work with your budget.

what forms of payments do you accept?

cash, zelle, venmo, or paypal.

will my tattoo be one of a kind?

all of my flash is repeatable! customs are only done once.

"i'm stopping by a coffee shop on my way, can i get you anything?"

i don't drink coffee but if there's a brownie or anything chocolatey in this coffee shop i would not say no to it >;-)

how much do touch ups cost and how can i schedule one?

touchups are free with the exception of hands and fingers. if you need a touchup in that area, i will let you know in advance how much it will cost. you can book a touch up by emailing me directly, regardless of if my books are open or not.
